Rating Leagues

Rating leagues are for players who want to get more match play while improving their rating on the platform. Let us look at the advantages of improving your rating on the platform:

1. Qualify to enter premium leagues where prize money and other prizes can be won.

2. Receive paying requests from lower-rated players when they want to practice or play a rating match against you.

3. Pay players who are rating higher than you to play rating matches against them. Remember, if you win that match the money goes back into your account.

Premium Leagues

Only 3 star advanced and zero-to-five-star elite players can enter premium leagues. These are leagues where players compete for prize money and other great prizes. These events are also official UTR Action-Tennis Events and count towards your UTR rating. The cost of entry for our premium leagues is R400. Positions 1 – 8, win prize money or prizes ranging from R5k to R10k.

Finding a practice partner

Want to sharpen up some skills on the court for your next match? Use the find a practice partner menu option to practice with players in your region based on your location settings. To add more value to your practice sessions, you can filter search highly rated players to practice with or invite a coach to your session with a highly rated player and get maximum value out of your time on the court. Once you feel confident with your game, you can enter rating leagues to improve your rating and earn access to premium leagues and other privileges.
